(Pardon if this was addressed before, but I could not find anything related to this.)

The request is going by the spelling given by Masamune Shirow here: http://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/1430791?tags=juliona_trans. No other character name of Shirow's has been romanized (if that is the right term in this situation), nor have I come across any other source spelling her name with an "l". Given the artist's frequent and clean use of English in his work and the few, if any, instances of Engrish present, I believe the spelling is intentional and the romanization was unnecessary (with the name likely a play on the Japanese name of "Juri").

I see. That's the first time I've seen those, and since those are taken from official Shirow merchandise (albeit a year prior), it now appears like the magazine's spelling might have been erroneous. Thanks for clearing that up.
