Also unpopular opinion. I personally would have liked it more if it was more mystery centered story with Aqua as the main character and the Idol stuff just happened in the background. Maybe Death Note kinda vibes. It seemed halfway through the story, we kept flipping back and forth between Aqua having a fake love triangle story and a fake Slice of life story where we only get reminded sometimes that Aqua was doing his own thing in the background.

What a pointless controversy and lack of a backbone can lead to... Becoming a bland replacement is going to taint Neru, at least for me.
Can't agree on Neru being a bland replacement but can agree on the sensitive keyboard warriors being cancer. Screw them for what they did to the original.
