Five years... Five whole years. ..So many things have happened to everybody here in that time. And yet, this precious, untainted image remains static; locked in an unchanging stasis... For reasons I can't understand... This pic makes me tear just a bit, and it's not just because of the adorability- I, just can't word it.
Not long ago, I conducted some research on the origin of Inu Sakuya, and there are a few things I would like to share with everyone who may read this post in the near future:
Together With Inu Sakuya was not the first doujinshi where Inu Sakuya made her first appearance. This can be confirmed by looking at the publication dates of each doujinshi drawn by Neiji Kirio. While Together With Inu Sakuya was released on January 1, 2007, this date reflects its first reprint. Its original release date was December 31, 2006, for Comiket 71.
To date, I have found three works in which Inu Sakuya appears before Together With Inu Sakuya. These are: Usousa, from November 12, 2006, for Kouroumu 2; Inu Sakuya, which had two reprints, with its original debut on August 13, 2006; and lastly, the oldest work where she appears, Izayoi Sakuya Kaizou Keikaku, which debuted on June 18, for SC 32. This does not mean that Izayoi Sakuya Kaizou Keikaku marks the first appearance of Inu Sakuya, as there is still something else Iโd like to mention.
I believe many might not know this, but next year, in 2025, Inu Sakuya will be turning 20 years old. This can be confirmed by a post from the Angeltype circle, where Neijikirio herself made a joke on April 1, 2015, promoting a candy to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the circle's mascot, Inu Sakuya. One month later, the comic Sakuya-san to Inu Sakuya-san was released on May 10, 2015.
In case you didnโt notice, thereโs a one-year gap between 2006 (the release date of the comic Izayoi Sakuya Kaizou Keikaku) and what would be Inu Sakuya's debut in 2005. As of now, I havenโt reached a conclusion about what her first appearance is, but if you want more information on this topic, donโt hesitate to ask. Feel free to reach me on Discord if you'd like to support me in this investigation: "UlaHula."
A horrible decision that removes option from users, especially the free users who only have 2 tags to search, throwing them into the sea of endless artwork.
Oh just look at him trying to resist. Does he not want to tread the same path as his sister? Don't deny it, embrace it Sunday; The harmony exist in all of us
Entirely fair, I was uncertain in the first place. Do you know it is? I'll almost certainly upload more of this copyright in the future, so it'd help.
@schule it seems to me to not be a very historically accurate costume. I think adding korean clothes should be good enough. I think it looks the most like the chinese zhijupao, but if its supposed to be set in Korea, it's probably not supposed to be hanfu- although korean traditional clothes are pretty directly descended from hanfu.
