How fucked up is it to get killed, then reincarnated thousands of years later only to get killed again the same exact way. At that point fate is using you as a chew toy.
Technically this isn't wrong... Alain kinda suffers a Freudian Slip when he tries to recruit her (literally the first thing he tells her is "You belong with me"). I like this pairing since they're down bad for each other XD
The context is that in The Genius of Sappheiros, Satori has a small chance to permanently copy an enemy's attack if she is a target of said attack. Satori is also weak and can't take many hits, which when paired with the ability requiring her to become the punching bag of the team to be most useful, results in the amusing scene of her getting hit, learning the ability with a smug expression like that, then immediately dying.
To elaborate a bit, you have the start and end of the stairs and everything in between is missing, by switching into a perspective where it looks like both parts are connected you can walk across the stairs.
