I took a look at the schedule for the classics, and it would be pretty intense to attempt all 5 (or 6 if you include the Shuka Sho). Basically, the all-open and mares-only races take place at around the same period, which as I understand it would be brutal for a horse to attempt.

I can think of many lesser fathers than Von Lycaon. And while Rina might be a little intimidating I'm sure she'd be a good mother too.
