I take it there is some kind of pun or word play using the わ/ワ characters going on?

No idea, but I did go back and update the 3rd page with a TN, since wakame is a type of edible brown seaweed, and Koume's wavy hair could be said to be similar in color and form. It's like remembering someone's name as "megane" (glasses) just because they wear glasses. It's probably intended to be humorous, and add a bit more to the punch-line of Miho forgetting Koume's name.

As for the other "wa" of wani (gator), it has to do with the infamous manga page of Phase Erika (post #2485194) where the artist mistakenly used "wani" instead of "wayo", and Erika being associated with alligators ever since.

This series of works is made around episode 5-6, where in Chinese community, start a discussion on how toxic Sakiko actually is as a character, including countless heartbreak she caused around her relationship.

After an attempt to translate...thank God that is a hard one.

Especially the translation cannot meaningfully break communal barrier between two language community. This depiction of Sakiko as a bitch really is due to her series of poor decision making, that exposed her weakness blatantly. But Chinese community do not accept her "no character growth", especially 2 seasons have passed and the show is almost over.

I'll try to clean up grammar as I go, but I can see why the Chinese community fucking HATES her. In terms of other IPs, Sakiko is eerily similar to Kanade Yoisaki, who has a savior complex which she developed after the loss of her mother drives her father to a coma, despite her trying to make a song to cheer him up. Ever since she's pivoted towards Mafuyu as the focus of her savior complex, and with recent announcements, I don't think it's boding well for her at all.

In fact, I am one of those who would like to see an official collaboration between the Gundam franchise and the Transformers franchise, whether in a kit or figure or also in an anime or manga, that would be great and I know that such a collaboration would be good since if they did it with Overwatch and the My Little Pony franchise, why couldn't they do it with Gundam, as happened with the Hallo Kitty franchise? I'm just saying and I know that I'm not the only one who would like to see that, in addition to the fact that it is said that the Transformers franchise was greatly influenced by the Gundam franchise and especially the design of Optimus Prime from the Transformers G1 series.

I'm surprised it hasn't happened before. There must be some underlying reason but doing so would basically be printing money.

A week long ban for a few harmless shitposts that can be taken care of with the delete button with no prior warning or anything is too harsh.

Not at all. People need to understand that creating more work for everyone is not something that should be accepted. One week is perfectly fine, especially since he knew what he was doing.

I think that's due to a lak of moderation and the impression everyone can do however they please.
It's the same on the local Discord. And when you try to moderate, everyone loses their minds.

everyone is equal, but some are more equal than others

Moderators aren't omniscient either, and they moderate on their own time just like everyone else. It wouldn't be surprising if some stuff slips through the cracks. This is why we have a report function.

"More work for everyone"? All that one of the mods had to do was delete the post and warn the uploader to quit shitposting or get banned. Please stop exaggerating.
