You got it halfway since there is an abundance of GFL mods for Xcom 2. Including even a Griffen and Kryuger Faction to add as well. Even has its own set of faction buffs. 1 of that includes HOC supports even. Also GFL girls even in Chimera Squad(the spin off game).

Sadly, due to how my own XCOM 2 would be super-clogged with mods (I subscribed to way too many on Steam Workshop), it'd take me a week just to make sure everything is in order and customized properly. Plus I'm too busy with GFL2, Genshin, HSR, and WuWa (plus my day job).
In any event, I'd want to see some XCOM in GFL2 rather than the other way around.
Myself is an artist, and I pretty like this guy's work. Its style is clean, neat but beautiful. Looks simple but not easy. Its shading technique and design are amazing. Its art style is what I want to learn to be. After a while, I found he deleted all his account for some reason I don't know. Sadly, I only saved 2 of his work at that time. Fortunately๏ผ danbooru have some of his work. Though it doesn't cover all of his work, it still helped a lot. All I can do is to upload the 2 pictures I have saved previously.
