Context for the joke here: The Japanese version of Battle Network 2 had a glitched interaction between certain objects. The Prism chip would create a crystal prism that caused any attack that hit it to spread out and create area of effect damage. The TreeBomb chips were thrown attacks that left a seed on the ground that would eventually turn into a series of wooden spikes that travelled along the ground. If you threw this seed into a prism, it would cause damage on every frame the two objects occupied the same tile, resulting in enemies and bosses quickly losing HP. This interaction was fixed in the international release of the game, but deliberately left intact in the Japanese Advance Collection re-release of the game.

Gotta love how all the cards got an edit telling which card is it BUT mystic mine. The person most likely didn't know what that card is or forgot the name of it but its still hilarious that one of the most hated and infamous cards is the only one that doesn't have an edit. Like its Voldemort and you shouldn't said its name out loud

Nah, I proceeded in random order and ended up forgetting it until the last check But it's hilarious yes :3
The other character with Kitasan Black is Skilfing, son of Kitasan Black, winner of the 2023 Aoba Sho and a fatality on the racetrack at the 2023 Derby, dying from a heart attack after the end of the race. That card hanging from Skilfing's neck is revealed to be a "I have heart issues" card on the next page.
Furthermore, this year (2024)'s Aoba Sho winner was Sugar Kun, a younger brother of Kitasan Black and son of Duramente. He didn't win but he sure didn't die.

I still found it's kinda funny that Duramante actually bang Kitasan's mother in RL, what more have very promising foal. Imagine the comic we get if Sugar-kun become uma

reading the pedigree line of the thoroughbred horses is as easy as it can get... if you managed to not get confused by either the Joestar family tree or Takamiya "family" tree :DogeKek:

I watched that race and couldn't stop my tears as Skilfing was being comforted by Lemaire. That derby really hurt as I've followed Skilfing's progress since the start of his career. This must what the people really felt during that AkiTen in 1998 with Suzuka. :PepeHands:

Dura has the ultimate comeback if she ever gets into an argument with Kita.
