Reminds me of the Ryoko Kui image where she does this trend of switching races w/ the Dungeon Meshi cast with the intent of establishing how even if they look different, you should be able to still differentiate between characters w/ ease.
One thing someone on Twitter noticed, on othermenuscreens, cross is cancel and circle is confirm. The opposite is true both here and in the menu where you trade toys with 004 (except here, probably a mistake), implying that you are making a mistake by accepting his deal.
