At a glance, it says something about Ho Chi Minh (I believe it may be praising him). My dad got pissed when I asked him for help translating. Edit: "Long live president Ho Chi Minh."
Sorry, I was going by the old Danbooru ruleset from howto:upload which specifically stated "Uploading One's Own Art is Sacrilege". But it seems that rule has been removed in the recent years from the last time I check, so my apology for not being up to date
Personifications of the three boutique brand Hypercars that have participated in WEC. Here's some quick descriptions with links to images:
Glickenhaus SCG 007 - created by Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus, the SCG 007 had a 3.5l twin turbo V8 - pure ICE, no hybrid unit. They had tried to get a title deal with Alfa Romeo but it unfortunately never materialized - combined with struggles to find a sponsor, the team had constant financial troubles and wasn't able to keep up the pace once more major brands joined the field. They never fielded a full season (pulling out after Le Mans for each season and thus never racing in Asia), and 2023 was their final season.
Vanwall Vandervell 680 - I love this car's design, but if a racecar could be a lolcow this would be it. Powered by a 4.5l NA V8 without a hybrid unit, it was unfortunately a piece of shit that was far behind the pace for Hypercar and had even qualified slower than the LMP2s at certain races - and when it qualified ahead of them they regularly either had a mechanical failure or ended up getting passed by the slower class on pure race pace. Between that, legal disputes over the validity of their use of the Vanwall name, and the non-existence of any roadgoing cars (Hypercar manufaturers are required to have at least limited road cars in production), their 2024 entry ended up being rejected by the FIA. The team claims they will apply again next year but I doubt their luck will be any better then.
Isotta Fraschini Tipo 6 LMH-C - an Italian carmaker from the 30s was revived to bring us the latest boutique car and the only one on the 2024 grid. Powered by a 3.0l turbo V6 with a hybrid unit! Based on pace with a top tier driver, it's one of the most promising boutique LMHs and could keep up with the big name cars - unfortunately due to budget issues the team is running a lineup consisting of a single FIA Gold driver and two Silver drivers (both of whom had limited to no prototype racing experience before this), when every other team has highly experienced lineups of Gold and Platinum ranked drivers, so they're far behind the rest of the class during most of a race.
