This is my first upload let me know if there's any issues with taging and such. I am a moderator for ATF and have no idea how things exactly work here.
So Miku's speech bubble in the upper left has the same pattern of text that I assumed was mojibake in the commentary of post #7739202, with odd kanji like 縺 蜉 繧 interspersed with half-width kana and other symbols. Following the reply to my comment there, I tried a mojibake decoder to no avail, and looking for similar text, I see it in a bunch of Vocaloid song titles, wiki-pages, etc, but no clear explanation for how they work.
Does anyone who's used Vocaloid and knows what this is have any pointers to decoding this sort of thing?
Note that some of the mojibake kana are not only half-width but the small form as well. It's harder to see in the image so you have to play around a bit with things like that.

Ah, I see. I tried it again and noted that I needed to put in the encodings manually (Shift-JIS to UTF-8). I was previously using the "guess encodings" feature and getting garbled output which lead me to believe that it wasn't normal mojibake. Thanks for the help!
I love the subtle details in how each of the girls is drawn here. Mami is holding the can and brush similarly to how she would her teacup and saucer and also has what appears to be a lily blossom painted on her clothes, which calls to mind the floral elements of her soul gem and hair accessories. Kyoko, who normally wields a spear, is holding a long-handled roller in much the same fashion. Sayaka is similarly holding her paint roller as she would her cutlass, and her bent leg is on the right side, where the hem of her uniform's skirt would be higher due to its asymmetry, not to mention that she appears to have a concrete shape of some kind painted onto her clothing, indicating her intent of succeeding Mami as the protector of Mitakihara, and she's the only one whose outfit does not feature a breast pocket, which probably means something as well, but I can't think of it right now. Homura is holding a spray can, evoking the firearms that she normally uses, and is the only one wearing a long skirt as opposed to the other girls' shorts, which calls to mind how she masks her feelings while the other girls wear theirs on their sleeve. I'm sure Madoka has something worth noting as well, but I can't think of anything right now.
Remember, kids. You are but one small man against insurmountable odds. Use whatever in your repertoire and mechanics you can access to win, that's why they are there. If you could do it without them, that's great too.
