It's difficult to describe the wonderful feeling of having a show finally deliver on the premise and promise of the harem genre after literal decades of refusal, denial, indecisiveness, laziness, exploitation. I sincerely hope seeing this success story inspires other creatives and studios to finally realize, oh right, this is the way.

Thanks for reminding me of the travesty that was the ending of To-Love-ru.
The entire original manga revolved around a love triangle where one of the girls wasn't just fine with a three-way relationship but actively encouraged it.
The sequel revolved around convincing the MC to actually go for the harem route, because that would make everyone happy.
In the end neither happened.
In regards to harem writers always pussying out, this can be blamed on so many people, especially older generations, never breaking their monogamy brainwashing and thinking that true love can only happen between TWO people, and since it is a romance story they HAVE TO have a monogamy ending.
And the excuses for dragging out those plots are the worst.
In particular Infinite Stratos comes to mind, where the MC appears to be denser than a black hole, but in actuality believes that leading on the girls instead of flat out telling them he's not interested is the nicer thing to do.
Granted, the writer is a hack, so he probably believes it himself.
Tl;dr if you're not going for a polygamy ending don't write a harem story.

Bruh the only hard boss in base game ER is malenia. And yeah while absolutely she falls into all the categories the artist listed, every other boss has those mechanics except toned down by like a hundred. They’re nowhere near as fast, combo’y, (except for maliketh but he has like no health) or have self heal like malenia. That’s what made her so infamous. Giving a 3/10 rating for a game because of a single optional boss is kinda ridiculous.

Not to mention how insanely satisfying it is to finally get your opponents moveset down and dodge everything they throw at you. The latter half of my attempts at Malenia I managed to pass through phase 1 while taking no damage at all, no matter what she threw at me. I mean you can literally run away from some of her attacks, you don't even need to dodge them. If you know what you're doing, even Waterfowl dance becomes trivial to dodge.

4 things: High vigor, High DMG, Ironjar aromatic, Endure. Endure is a way OP skill and ye get it at the start in the warmaster's shack. With a build of such things most bosses become trivial, you can even better it and add bleed or other stuff as seen with this example below:

I am useless at parrying and dodging, sekiro was a hard lesson for me yet it's amazing the options that ER gives you when it comes to damage negation.

Pretty sure using the only boss where that's a major issue, and saying the game go from 3 to 9 over just the dodging mechanic is just typical "comedic bad faith exaggerating". The actual point is just the artist don't like dodging and prefer parrying.
Personally, from what little I have played of both game, I've found ER good.

That's pink-haired_makai_resident_(touhou) and blonde_makai_resident_(touhou)

So basically they're left nameless and are generically referred as just the "Makai Residents". I'll name them "Pixie" and "Demonica" instead (like how I name the jacket girl "Jackie" and the label girl "Labelle").

I believe that the 3rd to last peach might be from that old Super Mario japanese animated cartoon where she's marrying some Prince. Her hair was shorter there.

Peach with the parasol might be from Super Princess Peach, where the parasol was her (magic) weapon of choice.
