For those not attuned to the FGC, the birds in the pic refer to Street Fighter pro players AngryBird and Big Bird.

These same two players have now been signed by Reject, which is what this piece is celebrating.

Dumb question, but why do art from back then look much more different than today? Like is there a gradual change in style or something because every art from then vs now seems radically different.

Illustration software has become more advanced, but also there is just style trends.
