It's not meaningless, but rather a reflection of what the users want to see.

So @Punished_Kiki given that this post now has had a higher score than your comment for a while, does that mean you're going to stop posting comments given that the community doesn't want to see them?

This is not the politically partisan plaza you think it is where people are going to put you in a pedestal because you were courageous enough to state the same bland and irrelevant opinion anyone else could've spit out. You're just going to be a bright target for rotten eggs after a few months, because your statements are meaningless and devoid of any depth. It happens every single time, no matter the side.
You gotta stop posting this kind of regurgitated garbage man, and you really gotta stop thinking anyone but a few selected handful of parasites and syncophants cares about your personal political opinion on a public non-news site. I would've expected someone who's been here for 20 years to understand this better than the average blue-color proselytizer of the flavor of the year political movement.

Complaining about Donald Trump on a Donald Trump post just makes you look like a retard. Nobody cares that you hate the orange man. Nobody wants to read your political opinion on how bad the orange man is on a fucking Jojo meme of the orange man. Nobody fucking cares. Your kind of comment is possibly even worse than hornyposters. At least those make people laugh. Yours just make people exasperated.

Nobody argues politics in good faith online, absolutely nobody. I hope you've learned something from this chain of comments. Or maybe not, and you'll be shat on by the community again in 4 to 8 years for the exact same thing. See you then.

On one hand, Kotobuki doesn't look like he's doing Kemono Friends stuff any more.

On the other, I'm just glad he's okay. Guy's been gone two whole years.

Funnily enough, when he went to sell his book, multiple people also commented that they were glad he was alive.

In keeping with the tradition established by this pool I'm uploading the two side-story book cover page posts uploaded in the past year. I'll also position them in the pool relative to their upload date on pixiv.

This big book clocks in at 96 pages, 92 of which are the actual content. The first 44 pages are also available to read for free at the source link. It also abandons the strict 4koma format and has a traditional comic layout with rows of variable-sized panels, but it's still a silent comic.

There's been an incident! An unknown threat has wreaked havoc throughout Gensokyo and caught the attention of all your favorite playable heroines! ...and of Kyouko and Kogasa, but only because they accidentally run into a monster that's far more formidable (and hungrier) than any they've met before...

Features: Every Temple resident except Lily. Reimu and Marisa. Remilia, Sakuya, and Koakuma. Kanako, Suwako, and Sanae. Youmu and Yuyuko. Rumia, Keine, Mystia, and Wriggle are also here. I think the monster is all-new, but is probably based on some Japanese myth I don't know about. Mokou, Iku, and Akyuu appear in speech bubbles. In the celebration at the end: Tenshi, Mokou, Alice, Kagerou, Reisen, Nitori, Cirno, and Suika.

My highlights; pervotron could add more (as per tradition):

Multiple instances of girls having to get food before going on their Adventure™!

Remilia feeding Koakuma is super cute. Suwako sleeping on Sanae's lap is also cute. Kyouko constantly worrying about following Byakuren's rules over her own safety is *kinda* adorable in a uniquely Echoes Kyouko way, though I'm probably misinterpreting some instances and she's really just suggesting they seek her help instead? EDIT: After Moonspeaker's translation of the title, yeah I think I totally misunderstood Kyouko here. This may be a silent comic but it sure is dialogue-heavy... EDIT 2: And when reading it again while uploading the sample WOW I got it not only wrong but *backwards*

Rumia and Wriggle using their powers to heroic ends. Lots of heroic entrances to go around in this story, actually. Sanae, on the other hand, seems to be in it exclusively for the glory.

Kyouko hurts her bum at one point, aww.

Hachimaki takes advantage of their new art style to draw some pretty eldritch body features on our monster.

Monster learns the hard way what happens when you try to eat a ghost; seems confused by the very idea of ghosts.

Kyouko, ever-flowing bastion of kindness and purity, does not want to destroy the monster outright, despite what everyone else thinks.

This two-for-one deal appears to be a FANBOX exclusive, but the covers don't have the interpunct (・) that the other posts in the FANBOX-exclusive parallel series does, so I'm not sure which of the two main series they're side-stories of. (If they release a new art book, that might answer that question. The art books number the side-story books and have their release dates as well.) If I'm (machine-)translating the description right, people who saw the FANBOX post before Christmas 2023 were able to download a work-in-progress version. I don't have a FANBOX subscription to Rakugaki-Biyori yet, though I'd like to eventually. I can say these covers don't match any of the previous side-story comic covers (though there are currently two that are inaccessible).
