This does not look like a Russian blue. Russian blue have quite sharp facial features and tend to have green eyes, not so yellow-ish. Much more likely a British shorthair

I got the impression that Kasumi was acting bright and cheery, as opposed to her usual tsundere self, so people are making jokes about her being forced to act like that for PR purposes.
