Is the eye a reference to the Burrower Below from Fallen London, or the artist's take on the Foam Eyed Queen?
It's the eye seen on the Fire Giant's chest. The Black Flame is derived from the Flame of Ruin worshipped by the Fire Giants. Melina's eye is sealed and since it's a common theory that she is the Gloam Eyed Queen the artist gave her the same eye. Also, since Marika is talking here about nightmares, the Fire incantations used by the Prophets are derived from the Fire Giant's Incantations and their lore is that they received visions of the Erdtree burning down this would be another connection.
I guess those were rejected by Sunday and Silk Racing, as well as Tetsuya Kimura, after they realized they didn't need a dozen Mecha Lemaires to have them ride [insert whatever horse they need Lemaire to ride].
If heaven is a place I can't go based on how much I donate pray at the church or how broken my moral compass needs to be so a book who knows where it came from has to dictate how I live, I prefer to stay in Limbo. Thank you.
nah dude there are tons of sources of its authenticity from random nobodies from 2 thousand years ago who had all the free time in the world and massive political power/control over what little media was available at the time, followed for years after by people who had nothing else to turn to. trust me bro this is the real deal
The tweet itself was from 2023 but got nuked sometime later along with the account. The current account with the name was created in August 2024 which led me to believe the username got hijacked so I refrained from making an artist entry since they didn't have any other socials.
Spirit: "You want me to fight that bit of nonsense over there?"
Tarnished: "Look, LetMeSoloHer is busy elsewhere and there's no way I can detour around her so tighten your buttocks and get swinging."
That's no typical cleanrot knight, though. That's Finlay, who carried Malenia all the way from Caelid back to the Haligtree after Malenia fought Radahn.
