It sucks but honestly I think he'll do much better as an indie. I feel bad for his genmate Kamala though since it looks like it's all up to her to keep the Hololive -White House- branch going.

Don't feel too bad for Kamala. She broke SC records her first two days, and people took her signature laugh and wanted to turn it into merch.

I was very confused by this sudden legacy support for a Ritual monster no one played but Novox being so weak attack point wise and Law guardian doubling his attack points if Novox is on the field or graveyard won me over. I want to play this deck so Law Guardian can protect his fangirl.

According to the wiki for youmu day, it's supposed to be on 6th April (and the artist also posted one this year on that date post #7423754). Does she have two days for herself?

Most of these holidays are based on Japanese number-wordplay (goroawase).

For "yo", it's more typical to map "4" (with "yo" as it's standard kun-yomi reading), and then "mu" can be "6" (from its "hifumi" kun-yomi reading "mu"). With that you'd get April 6th (for "Yomu") as the holiday date, which is what you're citing above.

For "8" it's more typical for it to get mapped to "ha" from it's typical on-yomi reading, or "ya" from it's kun-yomi "hifumi" reading. That hifumi reading is sometimes also "you" though, as in "the 8th day" which is "youka". If you do that, then August 6th would be "Youmu" and actually closer to Youmu's name since the length of the first vowel matches along with everything else.

I don't know if both are celebrated in practice by Touhou fans, but given Konpaku Youmu is Youmu-kun's spokesperson more-or-less, it doesn't surprise me if he wants to either use the date that more closely matches her name, or give her a second holiday.

Both are celebrated in practice by touhou fans! Its quite fitting I think, given she is split into her human half and phantom half, that she would have more than one day. You can usually find fanart under the #8月6日は妖夢の日 and #4月6日は妖夢の日 tags on twitter.

Couldn't help but notice the conspicuous absence of denial of Sweek being a deadbeat dad who regularly mooches 3000 yen for gambling at horse races and pachinko parlors.

I'm guessing the "she wouldn't be turned in to a neta chara" remark encompasses the deadbeat dad jokes as much as agemasen and all the other meme-y things Spe did, especially in the Anime.

you say so Buena but Spe did some of these stuff in the game already :DogeKek:

Anime and Tanuki is more guilty of it anyways... Not that game!Spe isn't meme-y though.

Except the part where she walks around the library wearing her swimsuit before scolded by Kingu.

    In re shoes.

The reflectiveness of the shoe really depend on the material, I would say the left just need to texture up with roughness to archive its material characteristic better.
Vinyl are not suppose to be reflective like in the right, unless you polish it like you are going to army parade.

Thing is, with continual improvements in training and veterinary understanding you'd think that barring prodigies newer horses would have better peak performance than old legends, only missing out on legend status because the whole field improves with them so they don't stand out as much.

Well, there's also the change in culture and norms which would've led to Tokino Minoru being scratched the moment someone noticed the horse's leg(s) weren't all right, had the horse been a modern horse.

Case in point, this year's derby winner most likely would've had his leg FUBAR'd had he not been scratched from the prior race at the last moment.

which reminds me of Skilfing again... that was really sudden and shocking to see happen after the race :CatCry:
