Hopefully Prime 4 doesn't get stuck in Development Hell, and Samus ends up going out of a job. Again. For like another decade or two. And that it's a good game.
So I admittedly don't know all of these series, but from the character traits of the dads I recognize here, and the appearances of most of the dads I don't, there seems to be some running trends. I kind of wonder what the dad from Sazae-san did to get added to this line-up.

I suspect about only half of them are terrible fathers?
Not really that odd, considering it's extremely common in most folklore, which makes sense given all of those stories were thought up during times when incest was normal. The taboo on hooking up with blood relatives is very recent compared to all of human history.
