Okay so, this is used as an example of happi on the wiki, but i simply do not see how it is that. I get the photo has sort pf a festival-vibe, but the cardigan itself has wide sleeves, which both the wiki and wikipedia says that a happi doesn't have. It has tube sleeves/straight sleeves. The length also seems linger than what is usual for happy, which typically ends at the hips or waist. This looks so much more like haori.

the background of this is that the virgin of guadalupe is an adaptation to christianity of a local deity, transforming it into a way of worshiping the Virgin Mary. Or well, that was the idea, many worship the Virgin of Guadalupe as something separate from the Virgin Mary, even though it is the same image.
