The last couple of costumes of the Seven Lucky Gods costume set. Kinuyo: Bishamonten, god of warriors and justice, often depicted holding a little pagoda. Mika: Benzaiten, goddess of art, water, music, etc., usually depicted holding a biwa lute.
Saori is dressed as Hotei, the god of fortune and popularity, and guardian of children, often portrayed carrying a sack and holding a distinctive non-folding fan.
It seems a few of these were missed between Christmas and Valentine's Day, so I will work on filling them in.
In this costume set, the girls are dressed as the "Seven Lucky Gods" (ไธ็ฆ็ฅ) from Japanese mythology. I'm researching who is dressed as which god. Anzu: Jurojin, a god of longevity, health and wisdom, associated with deer and peach trees Darjeeling: Fukurokuju, another god of longevity, wisdom, and happiness (related to Jurojin), sometimes depicted with a crane Anchovy: Ebisu, the god of fishing (among other things) Arisu: Daikokuten, the god of commerce, prosperity, etc. with the Miracle Mallet.
Artist tagged it KCCO but the emblem is that of the URNC. Not exactly sure what the lore is behind this, seems to be an evolution of the cyclops design.
