As was a common issue of the time, Japanese armor was still behind the American forces. US equivalents were equipped with armor mass produced by Levi Strauss & Co. While durable and providing good protection, it was regularly complained that it trapped heat and moisture making it an issue in the Pacific theater.

    Taki, Umiri not having it easy is partially your fault - you practically broke her when you said she was untrustworthy. Now she is way too obsessed with seeming trustworthy and slowly but surely losing her sanity over it all.

    I dunno, you could argue that Umiri still did it to herself. I don't think she understands what Taki meant by her being "untrustworthy". Umiri's issues stem from being self-centered. It's not about whether or not she can trust or rely on others, but if others can trust her, and it comes from when she got stood up by her first band.
