Reversing mokouโs immortality might also kind of invalidate a lot of thing, not in a good way. The ending is a happy ending i might say, but it kind of trivialize all of the pain and suffering. Most of all, i think mokou shouldnโt die a normal human death. Houraiโs elixir immortality is supposed to be โeternal and unchangingโ which even if theyโre able to make mokou die, it shouldnโt be because of the immortality got reversed, but instead, it should be a workaround, like forcefully splitting her soul and her body. Her death should not be a natural death. The weight of immortality means nothing if we can choose when to end it.
But still, itโs still a nice little story. I can imagine how now mokou cannot escape shikieikiโs yapping now that mokou also cannot escape death.
