Wait a minutes, the rivets had to be hot? Of course, to make them smaller so that they'd lock in and never budge, but... why not lift them up and then heat them?

Heat them... in what? The furnaces used to heat rivets to a cherry red glow were heavy, cumbersome things. You'd have a single furnace that would supply all the riveters on the construction site. That's not something you can just lug around to within reach of each individual worker, especially if they're working on a level that doesn't even have a floor.

Maybe they had to re-heat them using butane torches as they passed them along or something?
This is definitely about the "Goddess Fall" incident.
For those that don't know:
Nikke were revered as the saviors of humanity, but after a catastrophic failure in a pivotal part of a war, the human's perception of them changed from Heroes to Expendable tools. They were treated as 3rd class citizens (at best), and any human advocating for their rights were labeled as terrorists and subjected to persecution 200 Mass-produced Nikke decided to leave and build a home for themselves. As they boarded an elevator to the surface, the government cut the power to stop them. The elevator was 4km high when the power was cut and was now on a collision course. The Nikke decided to save the humans below by sacrificing themselves by self-destructing and blowing up the elevator.
This is the reason why Nikke squads are 3 or less...

The artist for some reason saved this image as JPEG with estimated quality of 41. If you zoom in slightly, you would see 8x8 pixel blocks with quite sharp, distinct boundaries.
I mean, it was teased months ago in the anniversary PV, among other things, so we knew Koyuki was in the event... and Koyuki is, in fact, Koyuki.
I'm pretty aware that it is just Koyuki in pajamas and nothing else "questionable" so to see the upcoming event is basically "Koyuki correction event" made it even more hilarious.
Saori blew a hole in Hieronymus the same way she blew a hole in Sensei
If you went up to this point in the story, the team Sensei summoned with his card are not the students that are helping him right now. Rather the students summoned by him is implied to be "his" students from another place (in game you're force to use your own students for this boss fight instead of using story characters, making this boss fight huge gatekeep for low level accounts) hence why this Saori is no longer wearing her mask and is perfectly okay with her face reveal.
