Why won't Hoyoverse flesh out their relationship more? Why do they just focus on trust events between the mc and other characters (such as Jane)?

In gacha games there must always be ambiguity as to who a character is into, so people who prefer that character with the MC/themselves are satisfied too. They are often the money-makers, after all.
The only exception I'm aware of is FGO, but that's because that game uses historical figures and as such some canon relationships are inevitable.

Sadly because they know sailing ships makes money. And that there are players who wants all the waifus/husbandos for themselves.
So they give you a teaser for relationships but don't dive deeper to satisfy people on both ends. H3I use to just straight up go into the relationships but with Genshin and beyond they learned this method.

yeah, I get what you mean. However, correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't they make money anyway if they appease the part of the community that prefers (for example) Seth and Jane instead of Wise (mc) and Jane? Tbf, I've seen WAY more Seth x Jane artwork than Wise (mc) x Jane artwork.

Ambiguity in gacha games is such a pain...

Correcting you not because you're wrong, but because your way of thinking is wrong. You see artwork, artwork is made by artists, unless a great majority of the player base are artists making fanart, your logic wouldn't stand.
Two, look at the amount of fanart Jane Doe has then compare it to how much Seth has then compare it to how much they have together. Most of Seth's art is either as a group or with Jane, but most of Jane's art don't have Seth anywhere in them. Meaning Jane herself is more popular than the pairing. At least 3 times as much going by danbooru stats.
Final point, not everyone sees the MC as a stand-in for themselves. I did NOT choose Wise as my MC, I chose Belle. Why? Because Belle is cute, not to self-insert. In Genshin, I chose Lumine for the same reason, if I'm gonna stare at the nicely shaped rear end of a character for hours on end it best belong to someone cute. In Star Rail, I choose......Caelus, simply because his coolness beat out Stelle's cuteness (man has a nice tush, no homo just respect). Point being, artwork featuring Wise I see as.....artwork featuring Wise, not "player character" the ones with the blank or no face to me better show as artwork with a self-insert.
So yes they will make money if they appease a PART of the community that likes shipping, but that part isn't the whole and you best believe there's more non-shippers than shippers (silent majority thing) who make them far more money keeping the ambiguity. Because I personally didn't even know who Seth was until this specfic fanart and me drawing him in game but you best believe I've known about Jane even before her release.

FGO just doesn't give a damn, if they want to do something they just do it. They keep to canon relationships while also saying "Yeah, but he/she would definitely try to sleep with you if given the chance."

Yeah, you're right about that. I get it. Jane's popularity is stronger than her pairing with Seth, and fan art isn't just about shipping. Most players care more about the characters themselves. By keeping things open, the game appeals to a broader audience, not just shippers. Thanks man, helped to clear things up.

    Okay, two things.

    1.- Adorable Red is adorable.

2.- Gwenpa is lucky. Both as in good luck and bad luck. Good cuz Kal sandwiched him with her thighs. Bad cuz of scratching/pulling and might get to hot underneath that cover.

Love how they are so comfortable with each other to talk to seriously at first and the act like the best of buds the next.

Aldrino, the old man that hides his love in an effort to not hurt Kal'tsit in case his end would be near and using an extensive shield of jokes and flippancy behind wich lies his sad memories and hurt feelings about his childrens. But... She's so much like his late wife.

Kal'tsit, a cat acting like a cat, feigning disinterest and passive-aggressively watching Aldrino while being overwhelmed by her responsibilities with Rhodes Island and fearing, for multiple reasons, he would side with his daughter. Can she count on him to save Rhodes Island and not destroy it ?

But they love, and care for, each other. It just is so difficult to admit openly, especially with their respective troubles...

And, of course, there is the most lovely paragon of childish innocense watching for them from the shadows, being the excellent apprentice she is : Red.

Apparently this is tracing of hanatsuki's works with the similarity being 1:1 :Deadbeat: Such a shame, never thought a professional artist like Minori could do something like this.

Based on the apology tweet it sounds like they submitted hanatsuki's works as reference material without making sure that they could actually use them. Images don't look like a trace either, just the same outfit copied form the reference by a skilled artist.

I'm aware that there is no concrete way to say whether he is using AI or not. I wouldn't disagree if people choose to think he isn't, but personally I do, and one making-of isn't enough.

First off, he tries to deflect the accusations by the typical "bro I'm bad at drawing hands" route but
This one has a middle finger just randomly poking out and bent to the side.
And this one has straight up broken arms, a problem that even amateur artists don't make. And I can tell you exactly why it happens after having tried AI myself: AI is especially bad at doing crossed arms without human intervention.

He has also traced one of club3's artwork and there is a history of tracers using AI too.
