The weapon is a slightly stylized, oddly bare-bones FN SCAR-L, aka Mk 16. I say "oddly bare-bones" because in the wild, they virtually always have at least an optic mounted, if not a flashlight, laser, camp stove, satellite uplink dish, portable weather station, rubber chicken, and anything else the soldier can cram onto the rifle's 44 acres of accessory rails (some of which are missing in this rendering). :)
i wonder if i should tag original or real life. the character itself is based on a real costume by a real person (as far as i know, the design itself is not their OC or something but their "stage costume"). i was thinking of using dentman as a reference but he himself have his own copyright tag
Also they used pilum, a throwing spear/javelin which would bend after being lodged in enemy shields. So a throwing spear carried on the shield and fighting spear carried on the side would've been very obnoxious to lug around.
Horns are weapons, generally. It wouldn't make much sense for someone's weapons to be very sensitive to touch, since then they wouldn't be very effective as weapons.
