90% of Touhou is headcanon/imagination so I don’t think there’s anything wrong with this. It’s not hurting anyone, it’s not fantasizing about hurting anyone, it’s not morally wrong.
Is there a way to trace animation from a video (in Blender or something, I assume this is made in Blender), or was this actually done from scratch to match the original video? If it's the latter - very impressive.
The youtube video description says it is indeed made with Blender, and there is indeed a way to trace animation from video, kinda like rotoscoping. I'm no expert but as far as I know it seems to be mostly a manual process, might not be as impressive as doing it completely from scratch but it still seems like a lot of work.
Can't tell who the monster in the middle far right is supposed to be. Dark Balter, Lesser Archfiend, and Ha Des all spring to mind but neither quite fits. It at least looks like classical card.
