90% of Touhou is headcanon/imagination so I don’t think there’s anything wrong with this. It’s not hurting anyone, it’s not fantasizing about hurting anyone, it’s not morally wrong.
Is there a way to trace animation from a video (in Blender or something, I assume this is made in Blender), or was this actually done from scratch to match the original video? If it's the latter - very impressive.
The youtube video description says it is indeed made with Blender, and there is indeed a way to trace animation from video, kinda like rotoscoping. I'm no expert but as far as I know it seems to be mostly a manual process, might not be as impressive as doing it completely from scratch but it still seems like a lot of work.
