Mel doesn't count since it was a termination due to an accident, not her own decision.
Every person that's recently left has cited disagreement with management and/or company direction. I know this is going to enter speculatory territory, but I think it's a very reasonable assumption that this is an issue with idol culture, and specifically the workload that comes with it, and how much time it takes away from the things they actually want to do.
Someone on Twitter said "disagreements with managment" is Japanese corpo-speak, for when the company wants to take the pressure off the talent and put the blame on themselves. The company itself doesn't explain why or give context, because they don't want to look like they're making excuses. It seems noble and humble to Japanese fans, but it casts suspicion and doubt among non-Japanese fans when they use the same generic excuse over and over again. Just another major cultural difference, I guess.

i never claimed to be correct when selecting ratings. this comment did help me correct some previous uploads tho just needed a refresher on the boundaries.
