zubo (dq9)
Zubo is a female fairy that originally debuted in Dragon Quest IX. However, for reasons unexplained, Zubo reappears in Dragon Quest X as a male Ogre. So far, it is implied that this is not a case of a name being reused in the series. They were renamed to Willow in English localizations of Dragon Quest IX.
