yakisoba spill
When a character accidentally spills their yakisoba while draining it.
This is strongly related to a brand of cup soba, "Pe'young Sauce yakisoba" sold by Maruka Shokuhin. Its reputed nostalgia-evoking flavor has remained unchanged since its introduction in 1975. However, for many years, the container was unfortunately not sufficiently improved, leading to countless accidents in which the noodles spill out while draining the hot water. If you have ever heard a Japanese person say their preparation of yakisoba went wrong, it's more than likely that this product was the culprit, or products of a similar vein. Since then, they finally adopted a more modern type of lid for some of their product lineup that is also used by other brands of yakisoba, where the lid has a dedicated corner that can be peeled to reveal slits that allow only the water to pass through.
