water bike
A variety of small one-man watercraft that utilize a bicycle-like pedaling system for propulsion. Traditional water bikes are setup with a bicycle-like frame that is supported by pontoons on either side. Peddling powers a propeller that moves it forward and the handle bars control a rudder for steering. Some water bikes utilize hydrofoils instead of pontoons, though these also feature an electronic assist to maintain speeds necessary for the hydrofoil to stay up.
