vision (genshin impact)
The proof that one has been granted the power of an element by the gods in Genshin Impact. It is usually represented by a gem with its respective element's color and symbol.
The vision's appearance differs depending on which region the wielder is from. The designs are as follows:
- Mondstadt: Circular, sometimes oval, and with winged shapes on the bottom and spikes on top. Example (hanging from Diluc's belt).
- Liyue: Square, features facets, and whose housing consists of a point-side down square overlaid atop a octagon/truncated square. Example (attached to Yelan's leg).
- Inazuma: Circular, surrounded by a full circular bow housing with a stylized knot at the bottom. Example (attached to Kujou Sara's belt).
- Sumeru: Circular, with a leaf-shaped housing that has large points facing to the side, and small points facing downwards. Example (attached to Tighnari's belt).
- Fontaine: Circular, inlaid in a thin border shaped like two ribbons with ornamental clamshell designs on the sides. Comes in two different forms based on the holder's Arkhe alignment:
- Pneuma-aligned characters possess Visions whose border extends into two criss-crossing ribbons around a spike on top and bottom, with its clamshell ornaments pointing upwards on the left and downwards on the right. Example (attached to the pouch on Charlotte's right leg).
- Ousia-aligned characters possess Visions whose border extends into a spiral on top and bottom, with its clamshell ornaments pointing downwards on the left and upwards on the right. Example (attached to Navia's upper left arm).
- Furina's Vision, befitting her ability to switch Arkhe alignments, borrows elements from both Pneuma- and Ousia-aligned Visions. It is set in a frame that has clamshell ornaments pointing downwards on the left and upwards on the right (representing Ousia) and an elongated spike on the bottom (representing Pneuma), with four prongs holding the gem in place. Example (attached to the bow on Furina's right hip).
- Natlan: Circular, inlaid in a thin border shaped as a saltire with insignia resembling spiral greca patterns common in Mesoamerican culture, such as in xicalcoliuhqui motifs. A spike adorns the in-between of the saltire points, resembling a primogem star. Example (attached to Kachina's upper right arm).
- Snezhnaya: Circular, with angled protrusions on the side, similar appearance to a military badge. Example (attached to Arlecchino's upper back).
