uss iowa (ssn-797)

A Block-IV Virginia-class nuclear submarine of the United States Navy and the fourth vessel to carry the name of the Hawkeye State. First announced in 2015, construction began in 2019 and was completed in 2024. It was officially commissioned into U.S. Military service on April 5, 2025.
