ursa major (constellation)
Ursa Major (the Great Bear) is a constellation located in the Northern celestial hemisphere. It is best known for the asterism of its seven main stars, called the Big Dipper. Its name, the Greater Bear, refers to and contrasts it with nearby Ursa Minor, the Lesser Bear. Its brightest star is Alioth.
