白毫 (Chinese: bai hao / Japanese: byakugou)
Also known as 白毫相 (Chinese: baihao xiang / Japanese: byakugou-sou)
A lock of white hair on the forehead of Buddhist images, depicted as a spiral or circular dot.
(Note that the term bai hao is also used for the silver hairs on white tea, which are usually called mouji [毛茸] in Japanese.)
