upa (style)

A modernist graphic style based on the work of United Productions of America, an animation studio known for such cartoons as the Mr. Magoo series of animations and Gerald McBoing-Boing. Typical to this style are flat colors, solid lines, and abstract techniques such as minimalist backgrounds or color offset from line art.
