toz-34
TOZ-34 is an over-and-under double-barreled shotgun of Soviet origin. Available in various gauges, it is produced and manufactured by Tula Arms Plant since 1964. TOZ is the acronym of the Russian name of its manufacturer, Тульский оружейный завод (Tulsky oruzheiny zavod). It is a common civilian hunting weapon in Russia and several ex-Soviet countries.
TOZ-34 is a hammerless smoothbore shotgun. The barrels are chrome-plated and have chokes at the muzzle end. It comes with a walnut, birch or beech buttstock and fore-end. In 1965, the shotgun was awarded the golden medal of the Leipzig Trade Fair. In 1970, TOZ-34 received the State quality mark of the USSR.
