Manga series by author Yama Miyuki published in Monthly Shonen GanGan and later in Monthly G-Fantasy from 1996-2002.
Also adapted into a 3 episode OVA series in 1998-1999.
Apparently it shares the same universe with her manga Gensou Tairiku.
