the fast and the furious: tokyo drift
The third film in Fast & Furious saga, released in 2006. The film follows Sean Boswell, a hot-headed American high schooler who gets sent to live with his father in Tokyo after a street racing wreck, and discovers the local drifting scene.
Tokyo Drift is largely credited for creating an increased interest in drifting and Japanese cars in America, and the movie's theme song (performed by Japanese rap group Teriyaki Boyz) is often used in memes and edits about drifting to this day. Notable cars featured in the film include Han's Veilside FD RX-7, Sean's Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, and the "Mona Lisa" Nissan Silvia S15. The film is also notable for real life drift legend Tsuchiya Keiichi's involvement, as he was the stunt coordinator and one of the stunt drivers.
This entry is known as Wild Speed X3 Tokyo Drift in Japan.
