Appearance and personality
She has long light brown hair in twin braids with propeller hair ornaments on the tips as well as grey eyes.
Her rigging is her own pair of Chou-10cm-hou-chan (both have a closed eye, one of them is biting a bullet as if it was a cigar). Her default outfit consists of a white sailor shirt with a black sailor collar, sleeveless black bodysuit, black pleated miniskirt, red rudder boots, neckerchief with her real-life fire control director, and thigh-strapped drum magazines for her Chou-10cm-hou-chan.
Teruzuki has a very soft-spoken tone and nervous personality, and looks up to her sister-ship Akizuki. When damaged, her worries about torpedoes and desire to jettison her own munitions stem from how detonation of her depth charges sank her historically.
History
The real-life Teruzuki sank only 105 days after being sent into active duty, one of the shipgirls in-game with the shortest service careers alongside Takanami and Suzunami. Serving in both battles of Guadalcanal, she did assist both Hiei and Kirishima, and rescued survivors. However, a month later, she was hit by PT boat torpedoes on a transport run in Guadalcanal, and fires spread to her depth charges, starting a chain reaction that ultimately sank her.
