The SV-98 is a Russian bolt action sniper rifle that was designed in 1998 by Vladimir Stronskiy. The weapon was adopted into military and law enforcement service in 2003. The weapon is predominantly available in 7.62×54mmR chambering, including its specialized variant, 7N14 round.
Visually similar to the AI Arctic Warfare, the SV-98 features a free-floating barrel, muzzle device foldable bipod, adjustable buttstock and cheek pad.
