surfboard (wrestling)
ロメロスペシャル ロメロ・スペシャル 吊り天井固め メキシカン・サーフボード
Also called the "Mexican Surfboard", this move is a painful submission hold in which one wrestler hooks their legs around an opponent's legs from behind in such a way that the wrestler's feet are pressed against the back of the opponent's knees, and then grabs their wrists before rolling into a seated position or on their back and lifting the opponent off the ground and compressing their shoulder blades. This move is also known as La Tapatia or the "Romero Special", due to its invention by luchador Rito Romero.
