stance (vehicle)
A style of modified ground vehicles that lowers ride height and typically includes other aesthetic modifications such as widebody fender flares and negative camber on the wheels. Stance styling is primarily inspired by drift cars, though it usually takes features applied for practical performance reasons and exaggerates them for purely stylistic purposes.
Stance is usually applied to Japanese cars, but there are also stance communities centered around other types of vehicles including pickup trucks and muscle cars.
