silence suzuka (racehorse)
Real Life Japanese Thoroughbred racehorse. Sired by Sunday Silence (his effective namesake; "Suzuka" being a kanmei) and foaled by Wakia, he was famed for his extreme front-runner running style. He had a poor Classics race year before becoming brilliant the next year, gaining his sole G1 win (The 1998 Takarazuka Kinen, against Air Groove and poor Stay Gold). His career and life ended abruptly at the 1998 Autumn Tenno Sho after a fracture of the left front leg, he was euthanized afterwards.
Silence Suzuka was a chestnut horse with a blaze marking and a sock on the right hind leg. He usually wore a green hood and had his mane braided, decorated with a green and yellow pompom.
He is the model for Umamusume's Silence Suzuka.
