shiten'nou
Ambiguous tag.
The term "Shiten'nou" (Four Heavenly Kings) derives from Buddhist mythology, referring to four protective deities - Bishamonten, Zouchouten, Jikokuten and Koumokuten - whom watch the north, south, east and west respectively.
The term has been adapted in East Asia to refer to groups of four, which makes translating the term to English somewhat tricky.
