The American adaptation of Kamen Rider Black RX, which aired from 1995 to 1996. A controversial Americanized adaptation of the series, completely altering the tone of the source material whilst also utilizing footage from the movies Kamen Rider ZO and Kamen Rider J. The failure of the adaptation, critically and comercially, would kill any further Western adaptation efforts, with the only attempt since being 2008's Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. Kamen Rider Black Sun is joked as having been created as a means of reverge against this show.
Prior to the premiere of the series, there would be a crossover episode with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, serving as a quasi-backdoor pilot.
Kamen Rider Black RX is simply referred to as Masked Rider, Roborider is Masked Rider Super Gold, and Biorider is Masked Rider Super Blue - Kamen Rider ZO and Kamen Rider J appear as unnamed green forms, but often nicknamed collectively as Masked Rider Super Green.
In Japan, the series is most well-known for its handling of Black RX's Ten Veteran Riders. In the roll call footage, two of the Riders were edited out, but the names were kept in chronological order in the script, resulting in a comedic name switch-up (most famously Skyrider dramatically declaring "I AM AMAZON!").
