recreational vehicle
A Recreational Vehicle (RV) is a type of ground vehicle that functions for camping or as a living space. They are usually furnished with a bed, toilet, and kitchen area. Their appearance varies, from a van, truck to a camper trailer pulled by another vehicle.
Known as camping-car (kyanpingu kaa) in Japan.
