Associated with the phrase "PLUR" (Peace-Love-Unity-Respect) and brightly colored plastic bead bracelets known as kandi.
Attire at raves is often colorful and made of synthetic materials, as well as highly revealing, due to the tendency for these events to be hot and uncomfortable. Pasties are a particularly common sight.
