She has long brown hair tied to a braid and hair bun on the side, blue eyes, and medium breasts. Her default outfit consists of a two-tone dress colored white and Navy Blue, a blue skirt, blue necktie, white panties, black thighhighs, and rudder boots.

Her rigging consists of her real-life island superstructure on her right, a 12.7 cm single gun mount on her left, and her real-life flight deck used as a portable case.

She is portrayed as a drunkard for reasons that have yet to be determined.

In real life, Ranger was the US Navy's first aircraft carrier designed and built from scratch. In World War II, she primarily saw combat in the Atlantic and Mediterranean theaters as her comparatively slow speed, minimal armor, and limited plane capacity prevented her from seeing service in the Pacific other than training duties from 1944 onward.
