A game in the Puyopuyo series. The story is a direct sequel to Puyopuyo 7, and the game was released in 2011 for the Nintendo DS. As of 2024, the game has never been officially released in English.

While no additional characters debuted in this game, some new costumes were released, and Ecolo gained a human form.

Trivia

  • This game marks a noticeable change in art style for the series, sometimes dubbed by Japanese fans as "20th Style" (20th風). Style changes include: Wider heads, eyes without pupils, color highlights, and shaded character sprites (as it was only flat color in the prior Puyopuyo 7 and Fever games).
